The barb wire represents the borders that humankind put up and all the hostile barriers we have across the world.

But there is also a lot of good in human beings, helping and supporting fellow humans. This ray of hope is symbolised by the butterfly.

From a plain and simple caterpillar it metamorphoses in a beautiful and shining creature.
